About Me

My Story

I have always loved the Word of God. There have been many times I tried to walk away and find something easier. But just the thought of not being a herald of truth for the Lord is daunting. I find myself relating to the prophet Jeremiah who once says, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name.” It was not long till he realized a man like him was not meant for silence. Jeremiah continues to say, “His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.” I don’t know If it will be from behind the podium, from a professors lectern, or through books, but I will declare the praises of God.

It was in high school when I first found my love for studying Scripture. I remember being a part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and having the opportunity to give a devotional on some mornings before school started. When I graduated, I went to Zion Ministerial Institute in New York. Graduating with a two-year certificate, I continued distance education and received my Bachelors degree through Zion University. With many changes in my life, sharp turns, hilly roads, I found myself walking into the  Royal Oak Church of Christ in 2010. I started preaching at the Bad Axe Church of Christ in the latter part of 2014 and began my Masters degree in ministerial work through Heritage Christian University in Florence Alabama. Late 2015, I moved back to Warren and preached at the Northeast Church of Christ for two-and-a-half years. In August of 2018, I moved to Dexter, Mi, and began preaching for the Dexter Church of Christ. I finished my courses at Heritage Christian University in May of 2020 receiving a Masters of Divinity (MDiv). Late 2021, I decided to leave the pulpit and take my ministry to the hospital. My last day as a full-time preacher at Dexter was September 19th. I began working as a resident chaplain at Covenant Healthcare September 20th, 2021. Early 2021, I published book 1 of “Who Do You Say I Am?” I am currently working on a couple books that I plan to publish later this year and next. Since 2018, I have been blessed to be able to travel to India each year and encourage the churches there preaching and teaching. Each day of my life is a growing process finding out what God wants me to do. What happens from here only God knows.
