A few years ago, I was able to go to Shults Lewis and serve in various ways. Shults Lewis is a children’s home that offers help to struggling teens and their families. The Church of Christ has helped Shults Lewis in many ways over the years. Some raise money. Some help with the commodity drive collecting food. Some have the opportunity to go and help with service needs on the grounds. We did tasks as simple as changing light bulbs, cleaning the van, to mowing the grass. It was just another way to serve.
